Pauline and Patrick, Haarlem (26 August 2009) One of the most adorable and authentic regions of France and the best housing we ever had with our family.
We had an absolute wonderful time in The Flying Pancake. The house is extreme well equiped, much bigger than we expected. The very big and lovely 'life' kitchen was our favorite place to be. The owner spend a lot of effort in the atmosphere in, and around the house. No simple furniture, but real comfortable design benches which are a delight to sit or lay down on. The place has a nice terrace on both sides of the house, even a barbeque is ready to use. We didn't expect a dishwasher, washingmachine, satelite tv, bycicles for the whole family (4 mountain bikes). Very convenient ! The beds...and the down feather pillows...I think I'll buy them for myself.
The area is one of the most charming and authentic disticts of France to explore on the bycicles, we did that a lot. We are very thankful to the owners of this house.

Pierre Henri & Eva (14 September 2008) We had a perfect weekend breakout at The Flying Pancake Medoc. The Medoc house is beautiful renovated and decorated. We felt ourselves home form home.
The region is recommended to explore. We enjoyed the endless naturist beaches and the good food. Plase have your dinner one evening at La Maison du Douanier, the only restaurant with a perfect view at the Gironde and 200 meters from the B&B.
We will come back next year!

Andrew, UK (11 August 2008) Just a quick note to let you know that we have enjoyed our stay at your gite very much and may well return some time in the future. It was nice to have the breakfast service every morning.
We spent most our time on the beach at Montalivet plus a trip to the Aquapark at Arcachon. Quite a relaxing holiday for us and the kids!

Jeroen & Caroline, Haarlem (08 April 2008) We had the opportunity to visit The Flying Pancake Médoc last January with our children.
What we saw was beyond expectations!
In the middle of a small village we found this very charming renovated traditional house with two magnificent fireplaces, one in the kitchen and one in the living-room.
Everything was very well designed and equipped. We had a great time.
We will surely come back to visit St. Christoly and the magnificent region during summertime.

Henk Noordwijk (28 January 2008) We have had the pleasure to stay at The Flying Pancake Médoc a couple of days during Christmas and New Years Eve and the experience was wonderful.
First of all the guesthouse, this is of feeling yourselves in lure and comfort whilst in the most beautiful part of France.
It is the combination of being in the charming guesthouse, with typical French open fires, comfortable bedrooms, bathroom, lying very near the famous Gironde. Moreover, driving with your car in the endless fields of world’s finest vineyards, meanwhile visiting the well-known tasting houses, important for your buying, if you wish to do so, and last but not least the countries cheese, pates and other delicious products.
We remember very well the Saturday morning. Driving only 15 kilometres, we saw the impressive Atlantic Ocean. We walked down to the marketplace and met the typical French atmosphere. The fisherman of pure nature, the oysters and Champagne, made everything pleasant and unforgettable.
Closing our impressive wordings, we enjoyed our stay extremely well. One of the reasons to come back in the very near future!
